DEDICATED WORK AND ONGOING COOPERATION WITHIN THE RES2FIRE PROJECT

The Institute for Protection and Ecology of the Republic of Srpska continues its intensive and committed work on ongoing projects, ensuring constant coordination and information exchange with international and domestic partners. In this context, an online meeting was held with project partners within the RES2FIRE project.

During the meeting, current activities, work dynamics, and upcoming steps were discussed, with particular emphasis on mutual cooperation and efficient communication among all involved parties. The online format enabled active participation of all partners and further confirmed the Institute’s continuous engagement in fulfilling project responsibilities.

The Institute for Protection and Ecology of the Republic of Srpska remains committed to professional and responsible work, as well as to strengthening cooperation with partner institutions, aiming for the successful implementation of joint activities.

RES2FIRE (Resilient Systems for Wildfire Risk Management in the Adriatic-Ionian Region) is an international project aimed at increasing the resilience of natural and urban areas to wildfires through the development of integrated systems for early warning, prevention planning, and public education. The project brings together research institutions, public organizations, and experts from several countries in the region.

The Institute for Protection and Ecology of the Republic of Srpska is the project lead for Bosnia and Herzegovina, responsible for developing and applying risk assessment models, educating local communities, and contributing to the creation of guidelines for sustainable wildfire risk management in the region.
