ALLERSHIELD PROJECT DIGITAL PLATFORM LAUNCHED
We are proud to present the new digital platform of the AllerShield project, developed with the aim of providing timely and reliable information on the presence of pollen allergens, air quality and meteorological conditions in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

A key element of the platform is the interactive map available at: https://allershield.eu/sr/mapa, which enables users to view current data on pollen concentrations, air quality and other relevant environmental parameters.
For the first time in the project’s cross-border area, biological and chemical air quality indicators have been integrated into a single platform, including:
- data on pollen allergen concentrations, particularly those associated with invasive plant species,
- air quality data,
- meteorological data,
- information on pollen allergies and their health effects,
- educational content and recommendations for citizens,
- news and results of the AllerShield project.
The platform enables the regular collection, processing and presentation of data in near real time and, through pilot activities, will serve as a tool for testing and further developing the system for monitoring aeroallergens and air quality. The collected data will be available to experts from partner institutions for additional analyses and statistical processing, while providing citizens with timely information for planning daily activities and protecting their health.
This innovative tool represents an important step towards establishing a regional information and early warning system for potentially hazardous air pollutants, contributing to better protection of public health and improvement of the quality of life in the cross-border area.
